The benefits of mobile phone devices, especially applications they contain, empower the end-user. Some applications are opened more than ten million times per day. The large number of applications available serves users in a variety of ways. The best application is the application that can satisfy the needs of the user. Application development starts from creativity; an idea formed that will, when developed, support the needs of the user. The purpose of this paper is to identify whether a mobile application can facilitate preliminary treatment of non-prescription medicine for sick individuals. It also addresses how to develop an appropriate mobile application to use in everyday life and how to ensure high level of user satisfaction. In this research, we designed and developed Non-Prescription Medicine Mobile Health Application (NMMHA) using freely available software which was operated on android platform.
