Description
Summary:This research had the objectives of inspecting the general situation and assessing the satisfaction of the duty along with the problems and obstacles affecting the performance of the Special Weapons and Tactical Operation (SWAT) Police in the Provincial Police Region 5. The tool used was a questionnaire to collect data from 40 SWAT police who served as the sample group. The findings were that all the police were male and most of them were non-commissioned officers with the position of Squad Leaders. They were in the age range of 20-30 years old with a bachelor’s degree, their income was Bht. 10,001-20,000. And their service term was less than 5 years. Assessment of their level of satisfaction in the work showed two aspects to be at a high level: career security and relationships with their colleagues. The low level of satisfaction was the income and welfare. The important problems and obstacles affecting their incentives and morale were related to the income and welfare as well as the lack of readiness and equipment necessary for the performance of their duties.
