The research titled “The Administrative Development of Chiang Mai University Educational “Hariphunchai” Center, Lamphun Province” had 2 objectives; 1. to study the condition of management Hariphunchai Education Centre and 2. to study the guidelines to develop the management in Chiang Mai University Hariphunchai Education Centre, Lamphun Province un order to be successful. Qualitative research was undertaken in this study. Interviewing were held with the group of people relating to Chiang Mai University Hariphunchai Education Centre, Lamphun Province. These persons included 4 directors and 17 personnel of Chiang Mai University Hariphunchai Education Centre, Lamphun Province. The managerial concept of McKinsey 7-s Framework was employed as a theoretical management for the study. The qualitative data, collected from relating documents and by the interview, was analyzed using Content Analysis Method. The analyzed data was then presented in the form of explanatory footnote. The result of the study yielded that; 1. The condition of management in Chiang Mai University Hariphunchai Education Centre, Lamphun Province could be concluded as follows; 1.1 There was the determination of the strategies that accorded with strategic for developing Chiang Mai University Hariphunchai Education Centre, but there was no implementation of working plans that reflected the planning of the projects and activities as well as the obvious planning indicators. The personnel were, then, unable to understand the actual strategies set. 1.2 Concerning the structure, the jobs were elastically assigned due to the duty and there was the flexibility in management. 1.3 The core value was the creative cultures which emphasized the working success, the operator’s satisfaction of working, working enthusiasm, and teamwork. 1.4 The system and working methods were implemented according to the rules and regulations of Chiang Mai University. However, monitoring systems for working operations and quality management systems were required. 1.5 The personnel were continuously supported to develop their knowledge and abilities. 1.6 The characteristic of the leader was an appropriate model for other personnel, resulting in working success. 1.7 The skills of the personnel were applied to works to reach the goals of Chiang Mai University Hariphunchai Education Centre, Lamphun Province. 2. The developing guidelines for the management in Chiang Mai University Hariphunchai Education Centre, Lamphun Province was to implement strategic planning under the appropriate processes continuously, starting from planning, working analysis, monitoring and improvement, as well as forming the structure by integrating workings together. These would make structural management flexible and dexterous in line with the system. This could be implemented by using quality assurance system as a supporting tool for successful work and, at the same time, creating the core value in form of share vision to collaborate the organization. The directors must realize the significance of creating culture and share vision by thinking of goals, main mission, and organizational strategies along with the managerial style. The leaders must, also, recognize their own roles and possessed the capability in management. The administrators should demonstrate leadership, moral principles, and loyalty to the organization and themselves. They must also set the process in planning human resource (staff) and pay attention to human resource management as well as encouraged the personnel to use their existing skills to regularly explore new knowledge. |
