Influence of PVP on the morphologies of Bi<inf>2</inf>S<inf>3</inf>nanostructures synthesized by solvothermal method

Different morphologies of Bi2S3nanostructures were synthesized by a 180°C and 12 h solvothermal reaction of solutions containing Bi(NOmiddot;5H and thioacetamide (CHSNH in diethylene glycol (DEG) as a solvent. The as-synthesized Bi2S3products characterized by XRD, Raman spectroscopy, SEM, and TEM sh...

The as-synthesized Bi2S3products characterized by XRD, Raman spectroscopy, SEM, and TEM showed that they were well-crystallized orthorhombic Bi2S3phase with morphologies of nanorod-like, sheaf-like, carnation-like, and microspherical, controlled by different contents of polyvinylpyrrolidone (PVP) in the solutions. Based on the experimental results, a growth mechanism was also proposed and discussed. © 2013 Anukorn Phuruangrat et al. 2018-09-04T09:29:07Z 2018-09-04T09:29:07Z 2013-12-01 Journal 16874129 16874110 2-s2.0-84893760306 10.1155/2013/314012 https://www.scopus.com/inward/record.uri?partnerID=HzOxMe3b&scp=84893760306&origin=inward http://cmuir.cmu.ac.th/jspui/handle/6653943832/52657
