Finite-time stability analysis for nonlinear systems with time-varying delays and disturbances via linear matrix inequalities

Finite-time stability involves the boundedness of the solution on the finite time interval. Finite-time stability problem has been developed in the literature using Lyapunov function method. In this paper, we propose some new results on finite-time stability for a class of nonlinear systems with tim...

Finite-time stability problem has been developed in the literature using Lyapunov function method. In this paper, we propose some new results on finite-time stability for a class of nonlinear systems with time-varying delays and exogenous disturbances. Using new bound integral estimation, we construct a set of Lyapunov-like functionals to derive novel delay-dependent criteria for robust finite-time stability of the system. The conditions are obtained in terms of linear matrix inequalities, which can be determined by utilizing MATLABs LMI Control Toolbox. A numerical example is given to illustrate the efficiency of the proposed result. 2018-09-04T10:19:41Z 2018-09-04T10:19:41Z 2015-01-01 Journal 1092910X 2-s2.0-85018379201 https://www.scopus.com/inward/record.uri?partnerID=HzOxMe3b&scp=85018379201&origin=inward http://cmuir.cmu.ac.th/jspui/handle/6653943832/54652
