The new species is distinct from other species in Sulcatisporaceae, as it has dematiaceous dictyosporous conidia. It differs from Magnicamarosporium iriomotense in its smaller conidiomata and conidia. Bayesian inference and maximum likelihood analysis of combined LSU, SSU, ITS, and TEF1-a sequence data indicate that M. diospyricola is a well-resolved species, sister to M. iriomotense, in the family Sulcatisporaceae. The morphology and phylogenetic placement of the new species are discussed in this paper. 2018-09-05T03:28:09Z 2018-09-05T03:28:09Z 2017-01-01 Journal 20777019 20777000 2-s2.0-85015338149 10.5943/mycosphere/8/4/3 https://www.scopus.com/inward/record.uri?partnerID=HzOxMe3b&scp=85015338149&origin=inward http://cmuir.cmu.ac.th/jspui/handle/6653943832/56618
