Phase transition and dielectric properties of B2O3 doped BZT ceramics

In the present work, effects of B2O3 (a flux addition) on phase transition behaviour and dielectric properties of BZT ceramics were investigated. The ceramics were prepared by a solid state sintering method. Properties of the ceramics were characterized by X-ray diffraction, electron microscopy, and...

In the present work, effects of B2O3 (a flux addition) on phase transition behaviour and dielectric properties of BZT ceramics were investigated. The ceramics were prepared by a solid state sintering method. Properties of the ceramics were characterized by X-ray diffraction, electron microscopy, and dielectric measurement. The dielectric measurement showed that the ferroelectric phase transition of the ceramics became broader and phase transition temperatures increased as the amount of B2O3 increased. The results also suggested that boron ions were introduced into the lattice and altered the phase transition characteristics of the ceramics. © 2009 American Institute of Physics. 2014-08-30T03:23:26Z 2014-08-30T03:23:26Z 2009 Conference Paper 9780735406889 0094243X 10.1063/1.3203238 http://www.scopus.com/inward/record.url?eid=2-s2.0-70449921395&partnerID=40&md5=744bdc5e7090fe416d1344ebec59c3e2 http://cmuir.cmu.ac.th/handle/6653943832/5762 English
