Summary:A study was conducted on the effects of Ba(Mg1/3Nb2/3)O3 on microstructure and dielectric properties of barium titanate (BT) ceramics. Various amounts of BMN were used for doping corresponding to the general formula (1-x)BT+xBMN where x varies from 0.01 to 0.06. Thus, the sintering temperature was varied from 1300°c to 1450°C. Results showed that higher Ts was required for higher amount of dopant.
