Description
Summary:A simple voltage and frequency control for a self-excited induction generator (SEIG) is presented. The system is developed for a space vector modulation-voltage source inverter (SVM-VSI) and the three-phase squirrel-cage induction generator to regulate DC-link and generator voltages with voltage per frequency (V/f) control technique. The aim of this research is to a generated voltage with a constant magnitude and frequency at variable speed prime mover. The experimental results show a good performance of the system can be achieved by the proposed voltage and frequency controller. © 2009 SICE.
