Differentiation of these disease processes is important for proper management. High-resolution ultrasonography (US) combined with colour Doppler ultrasonography (CDUS) is the imaging modality of choice in evaluating these patients. Gray-scale US helps to better characterise scrotal lesions. CDUS demonstrates testicular perfusion which aids in reaching a specific diagnosis. This pictorial essay is intended to review the causes, US appearances of disease processes causing the painful scrotum, and examination pitfalls of scrotal US. 2018-09-11T09:26:14Z 2018-09-11T09:26:14Z 2005-07-27 Journal 00375675 2-s2.0-22244477429 https://www.scopus.com/inward/record.uri?partnerID=HzOxMe3b&scp=22244477429&origin=inward http://cmuir.cmu.ac.th/jspui/handle/6653943832/62362 |
