Summary:This independent study aims to study the pharmacist’s opinion towards Motivation Factors of Pharmacists of Chain Drugstores in Chiang Mai Province. The data was collected from 115 pharmacists by using the questionnaire. The data had been analyzed by descriptive statistics ; frequency, percentage, and means, independent – samples t – test, analysis of variance, ANOVA. The results of the study were as follow; The most accountants who questionnaire were single females, between 26-30 years old with 5 years program of bachelor degree of Pharmacy in Faculty of Pharmacy from Chiangmai University. Most of them worked in the present chain drugstore for 1-3 years in position of pharmacist and live in their own house. Most of respondent ever moved from other chain drugstore because of too less of compensation and the reason for have been working of this chain drugstore because it was near their home and they like a description of work. According to the study of Motivation factors, the results revealed that the respondents rated average at high level. The following factors namely responsibility and achievement were ranked at highest level but they were ranked at the high level for the following factor namely recognition, work itself, advancement and growth. According to the study of Hygiene Factors, it was found that the respondents rated average at high level. The following factors namely job security, job status and personal life were ranked at the highest level. But they were ranked at the high level for the following factors namely interpersonal relation with supervisor, interpersonal relation with peers, supervision, interpersonal relation with subordinate, working condition, company policy and administration and salary and compensation.
