Summary: | This objective presents the behavior analysis of rock around tunnels and the structure of tunnels constructed by drilling and blasting. The construction of a diversion tunnel project under the Royal Irrigation Department, which was built in the Mae Tang - Mae Ngad, ADIT-1 area at Chiangmai Province Under Geological Survey data at the entrance and exit of the tunnel. The tunnel is a horseshoe shaped wide 6 meters high 5.77 meters with a support system, which consists of rock bolts. Steel rib and shotcrete with the wire mesh to enhance the tunnel stability in the form suitable for the area. All behavior was analyzed by means of three-dimensional discrete elements. The focus is on the movement of the rock layer. Settlement of tunnel structure and stress distribution in the tunnel area. In case no water is sent inside the tunnel. This is used as a guideline to control the movement behavior of rock mass around the tunnel, especially in the crown of the tunnel. effect on concrete components from movement of the surrounding rock mass.
The displacement analysis by varying k (In-situ stress ratio) ratio 0.25, 0.50, 0.75, 1.00, 1.25 and 3.00. It is the found that k (In-situ stress ratio) 0.50 is suitable for assessing the potential for Discrete Element Method. Therefore case k (In-situ stress ratio) ratio 0.50 will be evaluated displacement. The average of displacement at Sta.0+230, 0+290 and 0+350 in the crown of the tunnel was in the order of 0.00126, -0.00307 and -0.00615 mm. respectively. Which is close to the actual measured value in the field. The stability analysis for stress distribution in the tunnel area, Therefore case support system for tunnels will be increased stability. As a result, stress distribution in the tunnel area increased because the area around the tunnel has increased strength. |
