This independent study focused on the inventory management of Lertkit retail store, Chiang Mai province. The ABC analysis technique has been implemented and grouped by the important level of each products. The products that falls on group A were used to calculate the Economic Order Quantity (EOQ), safety stock level and Reorder point (ROP). From the store sales report 2018, there were 6 categories of products available in the store. Among these, 4 categories related to drinks and beverage were selected as a subject of the study. After implemented ABC technique, 39 items fall in group A which is cost 3,159,876.00 THB and represent 65.44 percent of overall products in the study. The adjusted EOQ by lot size were used in the study. The calculation performed with covariance of lead time and product amount. The results show that the adjusted EOQ is 2,874 units per six months. Total ordering cost is 53,135.66 THB, total holding cost is 58,327.83 THB, and overall total cost is 111,463.49 THB per six months. Considering the costs before the study, total ordering cost is 15,040.00 THB, total holding cost is 569,789.22 THB, and overall total cost is 584,829.22 THB per six months. The result of the study shows that Lertkit store can save 473,365.73 THB per year if considering using this method. When specify the service level at 95 percent, the overall cost is increasing at 29,750.24 THB per six months. In conclusion, implementing the inventory management method with EOQ technique to Lertkit store is very effective in reducing overall cost and has a result in increasing overall profit.
