The phase formation of lead titanate powders prepared by solid-state reaction

The phase formation of ultrafine lead titanate powders prepared via a rapid vibro-milling technique has been investigated by thermal analysis and X-ray diffraction. The results showed that single-phase PbTiO3 (PT) nanopowders were successfully obtained for a calcination condition of 550 °C for 4 h w...

The phase formation of ultrafine lead titanate powders prepared via a rapid vibro-milling technique has been investigated by thermal analysis and X-ray diffraction. The results showed that single-phase PbTiO3 (PT) nanopowders were successfully obtained for a calcination condition of 550 °C for 4 h with heating/cooling rates of 20 °C/min. The increased firing temperature was found to play a significant role in the formation of the perovskite phase. SEM results showed that the platelet morphology PT particles have a size of around 75-385 nm. © 2003 Published by Elsevier B.V. 2014-08-30T03:51:41Z 2014-08-30T03:51:41Z 2004 Article 15671739 10.1016/j.cap.2003.11.005 http://www.scopus.com/inward/record.url?eid=2-s2.0-1542610645&partnerID=40&md5=15cdd524d1688882310a2b4a88c757a3 http://cmuir.cmu.ac.th/handle/6653943832/7208 English
