th-cuir.245492013-09-10T00:51:14Z การใช้บริการห้องสมุดในสถานศึกษา พระคริสตธรรมในกรุงเทพมหานคร ของอาจารย์และนักศึกษา A study of lecturers and students' use of library services of Bible Schools in Bangkok metropolis วรรณา ชานวิทิตกุล ศจี จันทวิมล จุฬาลงกรณ์มหาวิทยาลัย. บัณฑิตวิทยาลัย วิทยานิพนธ์ (อ.ม.)--จุฬาลงกรณ์มหาวิทยาลัย, 2528 การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีจุดมุ่งหมายเพื่อศึกษาการใช้บริการห้องสมุดในสถานศึกษาพระคริสตธรรมในกรุงเทพมหานคร ของอาจารย์และนักศึกษา ตลอดจนปัญหา ความต้องการ ความคิดเห็นและข้อเสนอแนะ เพื่อนำผลจากการศึกษามาเป็นแนวทางในการปรับปรุงการจัดบริการของห้องสมุดในสถานศึกษาพระคริสตธรรมในกรุงเทพมหานคร ในการดำเนินการวิจัย ได้ส่งแบบสอบถามถึงนักศึกษาและอาจารย์ประจำโรงเรียนพระคริสตธรรมกรุงเทพ โรงเรียนกรุงเทพคริสตศาสนศาสตร์ และโรงเรียนคริสตศาสนศาสตร์คณะแบ๊บติสท์ รวม 1o2 คน ได้รับแบบสอบถามกลับคืน 88 ชุด คิดเป็นร้อยละ 86.27 ผลการวิจัยปรากฏว่านักศึกษาและอาจารย์ทุกคนที่ตอบแบบสอบถาม ใช้ห้องสมุดเป็นประจำ นักศึกษามีวัตถุประสงค์สำคัญคือเพื่อทำการบ้านหรือเขียนรายงาน ส่วนอาจารย์มักใช้หอสมุดเพื่อใช้หนังสืออ้างอิงที่ห้องสมุดไม่ให้ยืมออก เพื่อยืมหนังสือ, สิ่งพิมพ์ต่างๆ และเพื่อค้นคว้าข้อมูลเพื่อใช้ในการสอน หรือวิจัย ผู้ใช้ส่วนใหญ่ใช้บริการห้องสมุดทุกวันหรือบ่อยครั้งในสัปดาห์ ชอบใช้ห้องสมุดเวลาที่ต้องการค้นคว้าเรื่องใดเรื่องหนึ่งทันที วิธีค้นหาสิ่งพิมพ์ที่ต้องการ ใช้วิธีถามบรรณารักษ์หรือเจ้าหน้าที่ห้องสมุด ประชากรส่วนใหญ่ใช้หนังสือภาษาไทยด้านคริสตศาสนศาสตร์มากกว่าสิ่งพิมพ์ประเภทอื่น บริการที่ใช้มากกว่าบริการอื่นๆ คือ บริการยืม รองลงมาคือ บริการอ่านในห้องสมุด ปัญหาที่ผู้ใช้ห้องสมุดในสถานศึกษาพระคริสตธรรมประสบคือ ต้องการสิ่งพิมพ์ภาษาไทยด้านคริสตศาสนศาสตร์,วิชาการแขนงต่างๆ และวิทยานิพนธ์ของสถานศึกษาพระคริสตธรรมต่างๆเพิ่มเติม สำหรับความต้องการบริการและกิจกรรม ผู้ใช้ห้องสมุดสนับสนุนให้ปรับปรุงบริการต่างๆที่ห้องสมุดมีอยู่ โดยเฉพาะบริการโสตทัศนวัสดุ ซึ่งเป็นปัญหากว่าบริการอื่นๆ และมีความต้องการบริการอื่นๆเพิ่มเติม โดยเฉพาะการจัดทำกฤตภาค บริการแปล และการรวบรวมบรรณานึกรมเฉพาะเรื่อง ข้อเสนอแนะ ข้อเสนอแนะต่อผู้บริหารสถานศึกษาพระคริสตธรรม คือ พิจารณาเพิ่มบุคลากรของห้องสมุดที่มีความรู้ทางด้านงานของห้องสมุด ควบคู่กับความรู้เกี่ยวกับสิ่งพิมพ์ทางคริสตศาสนศาสตร์ ส่งเสริมทรัพยากรห้องสมุดให้สอดคล้องกับหลัดสูตรของสถานศึกษา และปรับปรุงด้านอาคารสถานที่และวัสดุครุภัณฑ์ของห้องสมุด ข้อเสนอแนะสำหรับบรรณารักษ์ คือ ปรับปรุงการประชาสัมพันธ์ ทรัพยากรและบริการห้องสมุด ด้านอาคารสถานที่และวัสดุครุภัณฑ์ บุคลากรห้องสมุด สิ่งพิมพ์ ความร่วมมือระหว่างห้องสมุดสถานศึกษาพระคริสตธรรมในการยืมระหว่างห้องสมุด และกิจกรรมอื่นๆที่ห้องสมุดควรจัดเพิ่มขึ้นตามความต้องการของผู้ใช้ในรูปของการใช้ทรัพยากรห้องสมุดร่วมกัน ข้อเสนอแนะต่อผู้มีบทบาทในการผลิตสิ่งพิมพ์ทางวิชาการของคริสตศาสนศาสตร์ในประเทศไทยได้แก่ อาจารย์ และหน่วยงานที่ผลิตสิ่งพิมพ์ เพื่อศึกษาและดำเนินการผลิตสิ่งพิมพ์ทางวิชาการมากขึ้น The purpose of this research is studying of lecturers and students' use .of library services of Bible Schools in Bangkok, together with their problems, opinions and needs. The findings can serve as guidelines for the improvement of library services in Bible Schools. Among 102 questionnaires distributed to full-time lecturers and students of 1984 academic year registration of Bangkok Bible College, Bangkok Institute of Theology, and Thailand Baptist Theological Seminary, 88 completed questionnaires are collected. It was found that every lecturer and student completing questionnaire was library user.• Most of them used library services everyday or several times a week, primarily with immediate search for information. Most students' acquirement of library services is for homework or papers, whereas those of lecturers include using reference books, circulation service and resources for lectures or surveys. The most popular method of literature searching was to ask for assistance from the library personnel. Publications in Thai on theological subjects were used more than any other publications. The highly used services were circulation and reading services respectively. Their main problems included requirements for more Thai publications on theological subjects and other fields of subjects and thesis of Bible Schools, and few using of many library services. Besides, suggestions were made concerning improvement of library resources and services, especially, audio visual aids service, clippings, translation service and subject bibliography compilation. Recommendations Three recommendations to the Bible Schools administrators are: firstly, considerations for more library personnels, especially librarian with qualifications on Theological background; secondly, the improvement of library resources in compliance with the Bible School Curricula, and finally possible provision of more suitable location with/or library space facilities plan. Librarians are recommended to improve public relations about library resources and services, to improve actual library services in the aspects of library space and facilities, personnel, library services and activities. Inter-library cooperations are also recommended for interlibrary loan and other possible prospective activities in the way of sharing resources.
