Summary: | Despite the concerns associated with the increase in using assistive technology for education in recent years, schools have expressed a willingness to include assistive technology for students with disabilities into the curriculum. Thus, technology is often described as the most important upon shaping the society and not only in the general society as a whole, but also expanded the possibility of inclusion in school setting. Although there is an excellent evidence for the efficacy of using various technologies to enhance emergent academic skills in children with disabilities; society, including parents and professionals, has been slow in acknowledging these positive and expected findings about its applications. The purpose of this article is to demonstrate the advantages, challenges of assistive technology and its application. |
