A computer teaching module, which comprised 3D models, various computer simulations and an instructional game, was developed. Two groups of students participated in the learning unit: the traditional group was taught in the traditional lecture format, whereas the experimental group received instructions that incorporated the computer module activities. Our research instruments consisted of a test, a rating scale questionnaire and personal interviews. Both groups took the pretest and posttest. The research results indicated that students who were supplemented with the computer module improved their knowledge and visualization ability of the micro- structure of solid crystals more than the traditional group. © Common Ground, Sutha Luealamai, Bhinyo Panijpan, Pintip Ruenwongsa. 2018-09-24T09:46:33Z 2018-09-24T09:46:33Z 2010-12-01 Article International Journal of Learning.
