Echinostoma ilocanum (Garrison, 1908) Odhner, 1911, infection in man in Thailand
During a clinical trial of praziquantel for human opisthorchiasis, Echinostoma species were recovered from the stools of 10 patients. The echinostomes were identified as Echinostoma ilocanum (Garrison, 1908) Odhner, 1911. This is the fourth species of Echinostoma reported from man in Thailand.
