Summary:Life Assets is a group of positive factors for child and youth development and truly vital to cope with their life. It could help to improve the children's life, the root of the society, to have strength in social immunity, living among infectious surroundings being applied in Thailand. The life assets are based on three key concepts (a) Life assets change thought: life changes (b) Life assets listen to echo from children. Listen to children is most important (c) Life assests make persons working for children and youth work under good system and good participation. If we want to see behavioural changes in children, the children must be driven by positive power. If each problem is solved by positive power, all problem facets would be solved, which originates the positive mindset. Playing the role of good listener leads to the learning sharing and access to children's hindrance and problems. Being a good listener builds up a good exit and joint creation. The results are that the children will have the cognitive and analytical skills in tackling problems and hindrance constructively, and they feel that their participation is valuable: these them provoke the positive cognitive development in them. A set of tools have been developed for listening to children. It is the survey for life assets of children and youth to which the children answer the survey questions by their own perception. The tools for children and youth evaluation of the life assets have 48 indices divided into 5 aspects. 5 power and chronologically arranged by its importance. They are (1) Power of self. (2) Power of the family. (3) Power of Wisdom. (4) Power of Community. (5) Power of Peer (creative activity).
