Description
Summary:© 2020 Micropaleontology Press. All rights reserved. We discriminated Bashkirian to Moscovian (Pennsylvanian) conodont faunas including 19 species of nine genera from the Omi Limestone in the Akiyoshi Terrane and established the following four conodont zones in ascending order, the Declinognathodus noduliferus, Neognathodus symmetricus-Idiognathoides sulcatus sulcatus, “Streptognathodus” expansus, and Mesogondolella clarki Zones. These conodont zones are correlated locally and internationally. The Bashkirian/Moscovian boundary horizon is probably located at the upper part of the “S.” expansus Zone. We further systematically treated obtained conodont species, herein.
