Summary: | Ischemic stroke is the leading cause of death and disability in many countries. This study aimed to develop and use the focus group interview and content validity test to evaluate the appropriateness of the content of five educational brochures. The five pamphlets are designed for Asian especially Chinese ischemic stroke patients. The content is based on the transtheoretical model (TTM) to meet the information needs of the stroke population and achieve health improvement. The result indicates that these pamphlets had good content validity to educate stroke patients about reducing fat consumption. |
