Participants comprised 108 primary caregivers, taking care for elderly dementia patients with behavioral and psychological symptoms at Suansaranrom Hospital. The research instrument consisted of 6 parts: (1) a demographic data of caregivers and elderly dementia patients with behavioral and psychological symptoms questionnaire (2) a Caregiver Burden scale (3) an Activity of Daily Living scale; (4) a Thai Mental State Examination; (5) a coping scale; and (6) a social support assessment. Content validity of all parts was verified by three experts. Reliability of the parts 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6 was analyzed using Cronbach’s alpha coefficient, yielding values of .92, .89, .78, .80 and .83 respectively. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics. The predictive ability of the selected factors was analyzed using standard multiple linear regression (enter method). The results showed that caregivers’ burden of caring for elderly dementia patients with behavioral and psychological symptoms was at mild level (M =1.32, SD =.51). Predictive factors could explain 16.6 percent of the variance (R2 =1.66, p<.01). For consideration, the factor that significantly predicted the burden was social support (ß=.368, p<.01). The results of this study could be used as basic information to develop nursing care to improve caregivers’ capabilities in caring for elderly dementia adults with behavioral and psychological symptoms ทุนอุดหนุนการวิจัยเพื่อวิทยานิพนธ์ ปีงบประมาณ 2563 บัณฑิตวิทยาลัย มหาวิทยาลัยสงขลานครินทร์ วิทยาเขตหาดใหญ่ การศึกษาครั้งนี้เป็นการวิจัยเชิงทำนาย เพื่อศึกษาระดับภาระของผู้ดูแล และปัจจัยทำนายภาระของผู้ดูแลผู้ป่วยสมองเสื่อมที่มีปัญหาพฤติกรรมและจิตใจ กลุ่มตัวอย่างเป็นผู้สูงอายุสมองเสื่อมที่มีปัญหาพฤติกรรมและจิตใจ โรงพยาบาลสวนสราญรมย์ จำนวน 108 คน เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัย ประกอบด้วย 6 ส่วน คือ 1) แบบสอบถามข้อมูลทั่วไปของผู้ดูแล และ ผู้ป่วยสูงอายุสมองเสื่อมที่มีปัญหาพฤติกรรมและจิตใจ 2) แบบประเมินภาระของผู้ดูแล 3) แบบประเมินความสามารถในการประกอบกิจวัตรประจำวัน 4) แบบประเมินการทำงานของสมอง 5) แบบประเมินการเผชิญปัญหา และ 6) แบบประเมินการสนับสนุนทางสังคม ซึ่งได้ผ่านการตรวจสอบความตรงตามเนื้อหาโดยผู้ทรงคุณวุฒิ 3 ท่าน ตรวจสอบความเที่ยงของเครื่องมือส่วนที่ 2-6 ด้วยสัมประสิทธิ์แอลฟาครอนบาค เท่ากับ .92, .89, .78, .80 และ .83 ตามลำดับ วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลโดยใช้ สถิติพรรณนาและวิเคราะห์ปัจจัยทำนาย โดยใช้สถิติถดถอยพหุคูณแบบปกติ ผลการวิจัยพบว่า ภาระของผู้ดูแลผู้ป่วยสูงอายุสมองเสื่อมที่มีปัญหาพฤติกรรมและจิตใจโดยรวมอยู่ในระดับน้อย (M=1.32, SD=.51) และตัวแปรปัจจัยทำนายร่วมกันสามารถทำนายได้ร้อยละ 16.6 (R2 =1.66, p<.01) ตัวแปรที่สามารถทำนายภาระของผู้ดูแลผู้ป่วยสูงอายุสมองเสื่อมที่มีปัญหาพฤติกรรมและจิตใจ ได้อย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติ คือ การสนับสนุนทางสังคม (ß=.368, p<.01) ผลการวิจัยครั้งนี้สามารถนำไปใช้เป็นข้อมูลเบื้องต้นในการวางแผนการพยาบาลเพื่อลดภาระของผู้ดูแลผู้ป่วยสูงอายุสมองเสื่อมที่มีปัญหาพฤติกรรมและจิตใจ 2023-12-20T07:57:56Z 2023-12-20T07:57:56Z 2023 Thesis http://kb.psu.ac.th/psukb/handle/2016/19245 th Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivs 3.0 Thailand http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/3.0/th/ application/pdf มหาวิทยาลัยสงขลานครินทร์ |
