me retardant and curing agent, respectively. Firstly, ENR containing 10, nthesized. Effect of epoxide content in ENRs on ENR/PP blend morphology, solvent and fire resistance of ENR/PP/MH TPV were studied. The results ENR/PP/MH TPVs using ENRS with different epoxide contents showed co-continuous mo hology. The use of ENR containing 30 mole% provided suitable mechanical properties, and fire resistance of ENR/PP/MH TPV. Furthermore, effect of polypropylene grade with erent melt flow indices, MH content and MH surface treatment on mechanical properties, thermal solvent and fire resistance of ENR/PP/MH TPV was studied. From this studied, It could be conclude that the fire retardant TPV was obtained from blending ENR and PP (HP544T) with melt flow index (MFI, 230°C/2.16 kg) of 60 g/min containing of 60 php MH had best balance of mechanical properties, solvent and fire resistance. The TPV materials was easy to flow and suitable for fabrication of wire and cable insulator by extrusion process. |
