Katharina Schmid
Katharina Schmid (née Althaus, born 23 May 1996) is a German ski jumper. She is a seven-time world champion, including one individual title and six team titles, as well as a two-time Olympic silver medalist, making her one of the most decorated athletes in the history of ski jumping.At the 2023 World Ski Championships in Planica, Schmid made history as the first and only ski jumper –male or female– to win at least four medals in a single edition of the championships.
