The mounting frequency, intromission frequency, mounting duration and intromission duration were observed and compared with sildenafil citrate as a standard drug. After given nutmeg mace extract 50 mg/kg dose daily for seven days, the mounting frequency, intromission frequency, mounting duration and intromission duration increased. The present results suggested that nutmeg mace increases sexual interest of male rats toward the female. <br /> text |
