總結:Inefficient activity in construction process still a burden. Too many waste and no value added. The advanced computer technology today's makes possible to do rapid simulation in order to evaluate the construction process due to eliminate inefficient activity. With CYCLONE modeling language, the observation is using COST software to run simulation. The observation evaluate earth moving operation with many resources; stone breaker, backhoe, and dump truck. The volume of soil to be moved in the earth moving operation was calculated to reach 1,4 million m3. The earth moving operation is divided into 4 areas each engaged by 4 subcontractors. The existing operation is in low productivity and it is behind schedule, and can not fulfill the target requirement finishing date. In order to accelerate the operation, earth moving's productivity must have increased to 2.222 m3/hour for each area. The simulation done by resource combination trials and errors. And then the optimum resource combination was selected and implemented in the field. The result of the modeling simulation was the combination of the resources used for the earth moving operation. The selected combination was within the targeted productivity. The number of equipments to be implemented for improving the productivity are, using 4 stone breaker, 3 back hoe, and 5 dump truck for each area.<p>In area 1, 3 stone breaker was added, using 3 backhoe, and 5 dump truck. This combination improve productivity operation in area 1 by 66,765 %.<p>In area 2, 1 stone breaker was added, using 3 backhoe, and 5 dump truck. This combination improve productivity operation in area 2 by 28,717 %.<p>In area 3, 1 stone breaker was added, using 3 backhoe, and 5 dump truck. This combination improve productivity operation in area 3 by 26,6 %.<p>In area 4, 3 stone breaker was added, using 3 backhoe, and 5 dump truck. This combination improve productivity operation in area 4 by, 38,346 %. <br />
