| Summary: | Generally mortality table describes the transition from active state to death state of human life process. On the other hand, there are other process in human life namely sick state and disabled. In this final project, a new mortality table will be constructed with four states which is expected better in describing human life processes. Multiple state model is used as a base in constructing this table. Moreover this model uses continuous time Markov chains represented as transition probabilities from one state to another which is developed by calculating transition intensities estimated through maximum likelihood method. As a study case, claim data based on traffic accidents of insurance company in West Java is used. |
