And since occured a multidisciplinary study that concerned with the interaction between people and computers, which is known as HCI (Human Computer Interaction). And along with its development a new technology that until now is still in an early stage of research and development. But nevertheless will change how human interact with computer, which is still limited as a face-to-screen interaction, and also will significantly change computer graphic visualization which is still limited in 2D visualization on the convensional monitor. This technology is Augmented Reality.<p> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> Augmented Reality Technology is an application that involve the overlay of virtual imagery on the real world, or with other words is a combination of the real and virtual world. The main purpose of this technology is to create a virtual object that can be integrated to the real world.<p> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> This final project intends to create and implement Augmented Reaity technology based interaction mode in a music application DyA, by using a virtual object, as a tool for learning how to play music instruments based on a music composition that has been made. As a new interaction mode between users, and computer.<p> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> There are some steps done to finish this final project. Firstly we study ARToolkit, and OpenGL. Then the programming of 3D graphic visualization. The next step is, implementing and synchronizing it with the whole DyA system. The final result will be a menu of Play with AR as a part of DyA. The results wil show that the AR based interaction mode in DyA can work well. text
