To survive, it has to transform from conservative FBE to entrepreneurial family business. Of all the symptoms occurring in this corporation, the core problem is the inadequate professionalism in family business management. Hence the concept of corporate entrepreneurship is critical in this transformation.<p>This study has been focused to analyze the key dimensions of corporate entrepreneurship that are already implemented in PT CS, which are: general intrapreneurship values, strategy plans, cross‐functionality, supports to new ideas, market intelligent, risk taking ability, time needed for problem solving, flexibility, focus, future orientation, and individual orientation. The measurement is done using an instrument called EOS. Also is analyzed the leadership behaviour at PT CS: the frequency of execution contra the importance using ELQ as instrument. Source of data is 80 employees at Division 2, PT CS.<p>The EOS results show that speed has the highest value of corporate entrepreneurship, which reflects the velocity of the corporation in taking a decision and making a movement. The lowest value is individual orientation which tells us that the employees have insufficient entrepreneurship. According to the ELQ result, it turns out that there is a distance between the importance and execution for each dimension for GEL properties, explorers, miners, accelerators and integrators. Dimension for integrators needs to be improved as soon as possible.<p>The implementation of corporate entrepreneurship has to be run continuously by putting this program as corporation main program. Creating entrepreneurial vision and forming new venture team will be good options. With supporting working environment and new role of family members, it is realistic to expect an Entrepreneurial Family Business. That way, PT CS would be able to improve its performance to struggle in the rapid business changes and stronger competition. <br /> text |
