Summary: | Value of m is one factor to estimate reserves. Estimation value of m using only logging data isn't sure approaching a real value, especially for shaly sand layer which need many corrections. Addition of well's production data can give more information which could predict better value of m, because production data comes from interest zone and are deep investigation. The result shows that the reservoir is shaly sand reservoir with dispersed shale distribution. Whereas the reservoir rock included in very little cementation type. Value of m that is obtained can be use in the same layer to estimate water saturation and reserves from that layer in the future. |
