The data is the Makassar strait area data of May 30, 1992, August 30, 1992, and September 15, 1992. The result of this derived temperature describes the sea water condition in Makassar strait. The temperature distribution is between 24°C - 27°C. Based on the data of August 30, 1992, it is interpreted that the upwelling process was occured in the western part of Southern Sulawesi coastal area text
