Description
Summary:Discharge ICJ decision (the International Court of Justice) in December 2002 issue of conflicts Sipadan and Ligitan islands dispute which was won by Malaysia, would have an impact on the Territorial Sea Boundary changes in Indonesia's North Sulawesi waters between Indonesia and Malaysia. The reduced area of the territorial sea is what I want to lift with comparable data between the PP 2002 and PP 38 37 Year 2008 mengneai basic point is used in Indonesia in the withdrawal of straight baselines and normal closing line of the islands. In this study, the territorial sea delimitation Indonesia - Malaysia was determined using the equidistant principle based on the implementation of UNCLOS in 1982. By using the equidistant principle author tries to reassign points and baselines that have not been agreed upon by both countries, namely Indonesia, Malaysia to represent the legal basis used.
