The limits of the sea utilization are also do not have the legal certainty compared to the policies on land. Therefore, marine cadastre is needed to manage the sea parcels in purpose for a good administration. Identification of the marine cadastre objects is necessary as it is the first step of marine cadastre process. This identification is related to rights, responsibilities, and restrictions of marine cadastre objects. Identification of marine cadastre objects involve national jurisdiction boundaries including Exclusive Economic Zone and Continental Shelf, and area based on utilization including oil, gas, and mineral resources, fishery, shipping, and seabed pipelines and cables. text
