It is for can be distributed quickly and evenly, among others, use the gas pipeline under the sea. In the process of underwater gas pipe installation, requires detailed information about the condition of the sea floor where the pipe will be laid, and one of the technologies that can be used is side scan sonar.<p>Side scan sonar is a hydrographic survey equipment to get a feature of the seabed. A feature of the seabed image interpretation requires that both qualitatively and quantitatively. And on this research, qualitative and quantitative interpretation of side scan sonar images needed to get the capabilities of facilities that are in the field of survey and consider their positions accurately.<p>Provided by the image of the conditions of the seabed they are clear, it can help determine whether the path rerouting laying underwater pipeline gas owned by PGN must continue in the next phase, the installation of the infrastructure of submarine pipelines. <br /> text
