Summary: | Indonesia is the largest maritime country in the world with the greatest ethnic diversity in the world. Therefore, customary marine tenure systems need to be identified as an input in managing marine cadastre in Indonesia. Identification carried out in Haruku region based on 3 aspects, which is: aspect of region, aspect of social unit holders of rights, and legal aspects and its implementation. Analysis of the study was conducted to compare the customary marine tenure systems Haruku and national marine tenure systems. In conclusion, that the aspect of region in Haruku has a specific area and its delimitation. In the aspect of social unit holders of rights, management rights are owned by Haruku residents only. As for the legal aspects and its implementation, Haruku own custom rules and the agency Kewang which keeping the customary rules. |
