For this system, the owners have previlage to schedule their flight <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> according to the need. Fractional management companies (FMC) manage all <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> aspects of aircraft operations, whether with FMC’s aircraft or with outsource <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> aircraft as an alternative. This gives the owners the right to enjoy the benefits <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> of private aviations. However, FMC may have complicated business <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> requirements that neither commercial airlines nor charter airlines faces. One <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> of the main challenges that affects it profitability is how to find the number <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> of optimal aircraft, in order to obtain the maximum profit. In this final <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> assignment, three kinds of demand scenario are made to represent different <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> flight operations from different types of fractional owners. The problem is <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> formulated as an optimization of profit to find the optimum flight assignment <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> satisfying the weekly demand from the owners. Numerical results are <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> obtained by genetic algorithm method. text
