Description
Summary:In gas production process, capability of reservoir to deliver gas (gas deliver-

ability) will decrease as a result of reservoir pressure drop. This may cause

the undeliverability of the production target as state in the contract. One of

the ways that producer can do is by opening new wells. By opening new wells,

the capability of reservoir to deliver the gas will increase. The objective of

this thesis is to estimate how long reservoir can deliver gas with constant rate

and to determine the number of new wells that should be open in order to sat-

isfy the production target. Here heuristic optimization method and concept of

multi well gas deliverability are used to solve this problem. Simulation results

are done with some hypothetical data.
