Summary: | Construction foreman has a very important role in the implementation of construction projects. Role of the central position of foreman at the foreman demanded to have the competence. So that the necessary efforts to improve the competence of both the hard foreman competencies (hard skills) and soft competencies (soft skills). Effectiveness hard competencies of a person, is influenced by his soft competencies. Therefore, efforts to increase the hard skills through certification foreman should be accompanied by an increase in soft skills such foreman. Efforts to increase this course should begin with identifying the competencies foreman soft current. This research uses deductive research methods. The data on research carried out by using the survey method. The survey is divided into two stages. The first is a preliminary survey, the second is a follow-up survey. Data obtained from the survey was processed by using descriptive statistics. The result of this research is the master competency profiles and assessment of business partners contractor foremen and artisans. Minimum competencies needed to master the attention neatness, quality and accuracy, initiative, gathering information, defining problems, empathy, organizational awareness, build relationships, develop others, ability to lead / give orders, work groups and cooperation, Leading the group, Ability to analyze, ability to hink conceptually, Technical/professional/managerial. |
