Competence in the development of human resources in SMEs centers shirt screen printing need a concrete data regarding the competence of human resources currently owned and if there is any effect on the performance of SMEs. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> This study analyzes the HR competencies that influence the performance of SMEs. HR competencies that include knowledge, skills, and behaviors Quantitative research methods used in this study, where the survey was conducted <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> by selecting 200 SME entrepreneurs in the city t-shirt screen printings. Based on the results of the survey, HR competencies affecting the performance of SMEs are <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> the knowledge, skills, and behaviors. The rising of the variables of knowledge,skills, and behaviors showed a positive effect on performance of SMEs. From the <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> survey results revealed that the variables of knowledge is the most influential variables on the performance of SMEs. text
