Kelesa Formation has unconformity contact at its top and bottom, bottom with a pre-Tertiary basement rocks, and the top with Lakat Formation. Unconformity in Kelesa Formation at its top formation indicates tectonic events that led to Kelesa Formation missing in some places. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> There is a pattern of north-south trending structure that Eocene-Oligocene as the first in the history of the formation of structure in the central Sumatra basin. Gravity anomaly patterns in the study area show two dominant directions are north-south and northwest-southeast. Value of the low gravity anomaly elongated <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> northwest-southeast direction separated by a gravity anomaly values were high in the middle of the study area. Borehole data shows the presence of Kelesa Formation in the study area bounded by a line trending north-south. Gravity data modeling and interpretation results that distribution of Kelesa Formation are at high and depression geometry. The Edge of Kelesa Formation distribution has north-south direction marked by the absence of Kelesa Formation above the pre Tertiary basement rocks may be indicated as High or the edge of depression geometry in Eocene-Oligocene age, and the edge of Kelesa Formation distribution has southeast-northwest direction is fault plane. text |
