Summary:Every company wants its machine to work in optimum state, where its lifetime can reach it’s lifetime design. For that purpose, maintenance is an essential aspect. Maintenance activity become hard to be managed when machine become complex and varies. Maintenance system is needed to manage them. In this research, maintenance system is use based on preventive maintenance method because it is a basic maintenance method and very common to the industry nowadays. <br /> <br /> <br /> This research is focused on developing equipment model in managing and scheduling maintenance activity system. The equipment model has a capability to store equipment’s information. It also has relationship model with entire maintenance system model. In developing the system, prototype is created with the help of web based application for its interface and database system to store the data. After the application established, simulation is done by using the maintenance activities data based on manual book. <br /> <br /> <br /> Simulation results show developed equipment model supports the maintenance management system by maintaining data from defining new equipment to writing its maintenance history. This final project can be developed futher by adding and integrating with other model to create integrated manufacturing system.
