Summary: | A demonstrator is necessary in learning process for understanding a concept, for example Euler angles. This thesis explains how to design and build a demonstrator for representing Euler angles and translational motion of an aircraft. Furthermore, this equipment can be utilized in Indonesia Civil Aviation Institute (STPI) Curug. The major components used in the system are joystick, microcontroller, servo motors and vertical actuator. Joystick is functioned as the control input device. Microcontroller process the control input and drives the actuator system consisting servo motors and vertical actuator. The movement of the servo motors yield roll, pitch and yaw movement, and vertical actuator conduct the translational motion. The demonstrator has been tested and the Euler angles and translational motion of an aircraft can be performed well. |
