detailed drawings. In the creating of detailed drawings, the most important issue considered is the variation of components that cause the assembly variation caused by stack of tolerances. One of which led to lack of “uniformity” performance. The lack of “uniformity” is one complicated problems facing the diesel engine industry in Indonesia, especially small-Medium Enterprises (SMEs)
and Small and Medium Industries (SMI).
By conducting a series of studies and extracting information on single-cylinder diesel engine, Kromhout, then conducted three-dimensional modeling. The results
of the model was validated by analyzing interference and analysis of collision in previous research. From these models that have been validated the dimensional tolerance analysis to determine the effect on assembly variation on this thesis. The stages in the research are: defining the assembly tolerance model, and perform dimensional tolerance analysis. Analysis of dimensional tolerances on the crank drive sub assembly is done by using the direct linierization method (DLM) in 2 dimensions. The results of this analysis are the dimensional tolerances of components that meet the designed assembly variation. Furthermore, the results of this calculation as the basis for creating detailed drawings of kromhout diesel engine. |
