Summary:In the middle of lately now global competition, consumers goods’ companies have to do innovations <br /> <br /> <br /> actively, in order to sustain in the middle of strike competition, to move a-step-forward than other companies, however if the company wants to be the market leader. CV. Warna-Warni is one of two distributors of Unilever’s products, wants to grow up its revenue in the middle of economic crisis lately, but still not to breaking the rules from The Unilever. From the problems that mentioned above can be do analises to make business improvement from the main business of CV. Warna-Warni with incresing the company’s revenue that has been decreased lately because of the global crisis as the <br /> <br /> <br /> objective. The purpose of this reserach is to analize the main factors of retail business, even grocery stores or modern stores, with doing research in consumer behavior to the people that consumed daily needs in <br /> <br /> <br /> Padang and give suggestions to CV. Warna-Warni in strategic planning form, in order to fulfill the <br /> <br /> <br /> company’s purpose. The research’s method that has been use in this research is descriptive’s method <br /> <br /> <br /> with spreding quesioners to 115 respondents in Padang between 20 April 2009 – 10 Mei 2009. Based on the result of data analysis, can be conclude that business’ improvement in modern stores has more potential than grocery stores. The final result of this research is the suggestion of implementation planning of retail business improvement in modern stores, in order to contribute to increasing CV. Warna-Warni’s revenue.
