The trend of oil and gas production is currently declining. This condition is <br /> <br /> <br /> exacerbated with the increasing trend of production cost. Thus, operation production efficiency is going to be the tag line to be solved now and in future decades. One of the messes came from the Industry supply chain condition, especially inventory condition. A very large amount of stockpile, dead stock, low turnover ratio and slow moving inventory material has been valid evidence in VICO Indonesia especially in terms of Maintenance, Repair and Operation (MRO). The worst thing happened when the stocked material is insufficient to cover the operation needs or the stocked material is not exactly the materials needed. The above condition leads many operations into halt. Thesewere common things likewise other PSC’s in Indonesia and oil and Gas Company all over the world. Based on the business problems occurred, inefficient and ineffective company's MRO inventory management condition will bring disaster for the company’s goal in future production efficiency. This final project is focused on how to optimize VICO Indonesia inventory management especially in maintenance, repair and operation area using a decision support system. The project execution will be the prominent part. Time allocation, strong management leadership focuses and funding for investment are needed so that the project runs smoothly and bring the desired output.
