Most of resources in construction are dominated by human. Reinforcing and column formwork in multistory building construction's project is ones of activity that can't be separated from a series of construction work. Formwork and reinforcing should be done effectively in order to avoid delays that affect on concreting and cause delays to activities that follow. Productivity can't be measured accurately but through approaches. To measure productivity on field is not always easy to do to each characteristic of project. It needs knowledge about anything that being an obstacle in measuring the productivity of worker on reinforcing and column formwork in a project. There are some approaches to measure the productivity, including work sampling method, time motion studies, method productivity delay model (MPDM), 5 minutes rating and simulation method. A repeated job, like in construction's project, can be simulated. Program that can be used to simulate is WebCYCLONE. <br /> <br /> <br /> Modeling is defined as creating a representation of something, for example an operation. This final project uses WebCYCLONE program to simulate an operation model. WebCYCLONE uses the modeling concepts of CYCLONE (CYCLic Operations Network), which provides a set of graphical format which are utilized to develop a network model in terms of which the process can be defined and solved using simulation techniques. The model identifies waiting or delay states as well as active productive states. The computer program allows the modeler to identify resources which are underutilized in the process and can influence the rate of productivity. text |
