Summary:E-commerce has developed rapidly, especially in Indonesia. The interface of a website is becoming more and more important since it is the first interaction <br /> <br /> <br /> between customers and company. Usability becomes the main reason for customers who choose to do transactions on e-commerce sites. Reusability assessment model is then needed to analyze the usability level of an e-commerce websites. In this study, the writer used UWIS (Usability Assessment And Design Of Web-Based Information Systems) as the basic model of analysis. This model was then developed by adding dimensions and variables from other literatures. <br /> <br /> <br /> The research was conducted by circulating scenarios and questionnaires to 200 students at one public university in Bandung. In this research, the writer chose to analyze the website of Air Asia and Garuda Indonesia. The results of this analysis formed 9 dimensions and 25 items variables which are considered to be valid and <br /> <br /> <br /> reliable. The 9 new dimensions were Assistance, Satisfaction, Information Quality, Reliability, Navigation, Assurance and Company Contacts, Security and <br /> <br /> <br /> Facilities, Universality, and Time Indicator. <br /> <br /> <br /> There were several factors from Garuda Indonesia and Air Asia websites that needed priority improvement. Those factors were Assistance, Satisfaction, Information Quality, Reliability, Assurance and Company Contacts, Universality and Time Indicator. Especially for Garuda Indonesia, Universality factor was considered to be effective. Factors that were considered ineffective were <br /> <br /> <br /> Navigation and Security and Facilities.
