This new habit also impact in their preference of food consumption. That is why food such as instant noodles is become more and more popular these days because of its practical. Unfortunately, this instant noodles made by packanging product's plastic material which have many bad impact to the environment. Despite of many news and publication about the global warming issues and how plastic waste have many bad impacts, the amount of plastic waste is still high and increasing every year for the last 16 year with the growth rate 15% per year.People nowadays are getting more concious about their environement because of the global warming issue. This plastic waste produce by the instant noodle's products reach 9 billion pieces for the year 2011 only as the sales of the instant noodles reach that number. This plastic waste can cause many impacts to both environment and people because it takes years to unravel.The methods used in this research is explanatory survey with deksriptif and disseminate a questionnaire to 203 respondents who are ITB's undergraduate students. Next, do data processing and analysis of statistical data with the help of SPSS 17 for windows. Test the validity of using the model of the Corrected Item-Total Correlation, reliability test while using the formula Cronbach's Alpha. In addition, test hypotheses using a coefficient of Pearson and test T. Based on the results of the analysis of known that the only variables that affect the behavior of consumers instant noodles to the issue of global warming is green awareness. While this behavior do not have a significant impact on the green lifestyle. The same result is found on the relationship between green knowledge and green awareness towards green lifestyle on plastic waste. From here, the instant noodles company who want to implementing green business strategy have to push theirn consumer so wether they want or not, they will do a green movement. |
