time. Urban transportation that is available is not fully capable of addressing the issue. For that we need the construction of a new mode that has its own path so as not to interfere with traffic jams that occur, ie the cable car. The methods used to model and observe the behavior of users in the selected mode compared are Stated Preference. This method is also able to predict the magnitude of travel demand of passengers who will switch from the existing mode of using the mode of the cable car in an objective and measurable against the existing mode of using certain service attributes. The attributes used in this study namely tariffs, travel time, waiting time and operation time. Binomial logit concept is used to estimate the probability of selection of modes by looking at the difference in utilities of the two modes are compared. The scenarios are arranged in predicting the magnitude of demand for cable car journey is divided into three, namely the optimistic scenario, the median, and pessimistic. From the demand analysis predicted results obtained by cable car (the middle scenario) in 2013 amounting to 26,897 passengers and will continue to increase by 96,874 passengers in 2043. |
