PTFI is currently acting as financial contributor for cultural program with a sizable portion, and with this situation there is a question about how if the PTFI operation is completed, whether the company supports for cultural programs will also stop? With this consideration, then all program related with PTFI's Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) should be constantly sustained even if the company is no longer exists. <br /> <br /> <br /> The concept of sustainable development needs and intended to be applied in the development of Kamoro cultural programs. Accordingly the research will be focused on the independent funding support program. From the analysis which is carried out on cultural activities, then the most possible revenue is through the sales of the Kamoro carvings products. Right now, <br /> <br /> <br /> the sales program still focused on non-profit oriented and to help carvers sell the products. <br /> <br /> <br /> This concept will try to be changed where the program will becomes more profit oriented product sales in order to gain good revenue for the continuation of the program. The business solutions will be applied by strengthening the marketing strategy, including activities that support this strategy through the programs that can promote Kamoro culture and its cultural products, network development and the possibility of alternative products development. It is hoped that this strategy can give benefit or at least, in the early stages, can cover the costs which is incurred in the carvings collection and sales program. <br /> <br /> <br /> As the implementation, programs will be conducted through vigorous promotional efforts, the creation of a professional and well recognized institution in the management of arts and cultural programs, more aggressive promotional efforts through the networking <br /> <br /> <br /> development and cooperation encouragement in the exhibition and presentation of cultural activities with other stakeholders, procurement of printing materials and electronic promotional brochures, writing articles and a special Kamoro culture and art products website, as well as product diversification efforts through the creation of functional products without leaving their local cultural characteristics. text |
